Dark Avenger for Android Download

Caught a tantalising glimpse of Gamevil and Boolean's new freemium iOS and Android dungeon-crawler Dark Avenger on YouTube the other day. Got me all kinds of excited.

So, I did what any sane person would do in this situation... I got on the blower to the game's creator.

Turns out we don't have long to wait for Dark Avenger, folks. 12 hours, in fact.

Yep, Dark Avenger has just gone live on the New Zealand App Store, meaning UK and US iOS gamers will be able to download it from midnight.

Using the game's "smooth, intuitive controls", you will have to guide your hero through detailed dungeons and do battle with hordes of medieval minions.

Multiplayer will be a crucial element in this game, with Boolean integrating real-time PvP battles for up to six people into the Dark Avenger experience.

With three different character classes from which to choose - Templar, Archer, and Mage - we are looking forward to seeing how team composition will affect online battles.

As mentioned earlier, Gamevil has given Dark Avenger the freemium treatment. So, yes, there'll be some in-game virtual currency available to purchase. You'll also be able to earn currency organically by competing in global deathmatches and achieving in-game ranks.

You'll be able to grab Dark Avenger from the App Store in the UK and US from midnight this evening for free. It should surface on Google Play shortly after.
